DTN Closing Livestock Comment 05/07 16:11
Traders Grow Leery of Overly Supporting the Livestock Contracts
Heading into Thursday's market, be on the lookout for the day's export
report and for any new developments in the fed cash cattle market.

GENERAL COMMENTS:
It was a disappointing day for the livestock complex as all three of the
markets closed lower. A few more sales were noted in the cash market, but still
no trade has developed in the North. May corn is down 6 1/2 cents per bushel,
and May soybean meal is up $1.90. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 284.97
points, and the NASDAQ is up 48.50 points.
